How to check Google Bot our website ranking factor

Today I would like to talk about one of the most important topics in the SEO industry.

Most of you heard a term called Google Page Ranking factor, but did you ever think what is actually google page rank is? Or how does it is affecting your website ranking? If not then today I will try my best to explain everything related to this topic from basic level to advanced level.

Google page rank for those who never heard before, is a scoring algorithm developed by Google Inc., this algorithm is used by search engine result pages (SERPs) of the Google Search Engine to rank websites that match a given query for purposes of relevance and order.

The search engines constantly working on this algorithm there are just some factors that decide the overall value which is called “Page Rank”.

Page rank is an algorithm developed by Google, which calculates the relevancy of web pages to better determine their order in search results. The higher your page’s rank, the more likely your website will be returned for queries that are relevant to your content.

What is Domain Authority and Page Authority?

The important most factor of this is “Domain Authority” and “Page Authority”, basically these two factors decide how good your website ranks on SERP. Domain authority measures the power of a domain name. Web sites with powerful domain names are thought to be very competitive for certain kinds of keywords.

Page authority, on the other hand, measures the strength or power of individual web pages or sites on an individual basis, independent from external like linking root domains or the number of linking root domains.

What are External Links

and  Internal Links?

The other factor is “External Links” and “Internal Links”, basically there are two types of links: inbound & out-bound, in short, we can say that an in-bound link means you link your website with other websites and out-bound mean the other website linked back to your website.

The necessary for high ranking is to take more inbound links than outbound links so be careful about this when taking any type of marketing campaign to get backlinks from other sites.

As I said Google page rank is an algorithm that calculates the relevancy of web pages to better determine their order in search results. And when it comes into play then there are some factors that decide how your website ranks on SERP. These factors are as follows:

1. Domain authority 2. External links 3. Internal links 4. Google page rank 5. Number of backlinks

Now I will try to explain these factors one by one, let’s start with “Domain Authority”:

Domain Authority (DA) is a score (on a 100-point scale) developed by Moz that predicts how well a website will rank on search engines based on various link metrics. So basically it is the score and measured only for a domain name not for individual web pages or sites, this scoring algorithm is used by search engine result pages (SERPs) of the Google Search Engine to rank websites that match a given query for purposes of relevance and order. This factor gives you an idea about how competitive your keywords are, the more DA your website has the better it will be to compete with other sites.

Domain authority is a score between 1-100, which predicts how well a given site will rank on search engine result pages (SERPs). Sites with higher domain authority are ranked higher by search engines and can achieve a PageRank score of 10 or greater. Domain Authority is calculated based on the quantity & quality of inbound links that linked back to your site.

Page Authority

Now let’s talk about “Page Authority”, basically this factor tells us how much strength does an individual web page has so as to determine its relative ranking in SERP. So This is measured on a 100 point scale where any domain/page having 100 points or being close enough to 100 points will have an easier time ranking higher in Google’s search results.

Page authority is a new scoring system for individual pages that measures the quality and quantity of links pointing to a given page, it takes into account both the number of linking root domains as well as the number of total links on those domains. It differs from the domain-based trust and page rank score which used by search engine result pages (SERPs) of the Google Search Engine to rank websites that match a given query for purposes of relevance and order.

External Links

The next factor is “External Links”, basically this factor tells us how much strength does an individual web page has so as to determine its relative ranking in SERP. Because when It is measured on a 100 point scale where any domain/page having 100 points or being close enough to 100 points will have an easier time ranking higher in Google’s search results.

External links are hyperlinks that link to your website from other external, third-party websites. This factor tells us how many other reputable sites (which means their page rank is not zero) link back to our site and this thing tells about the quality of our site. If we get quality backlinks for our website then it also increases the Google page ranking. The more quality backlinks, the more visitors will come.

Internal Links

The next factor is “Internal Links”, basically this factor tells us how much strength does an individual web page has so as to determine its relative ranking in SERP. It is measured on a 100 point scale where any domain/page having 100 points or being close enough to 100 points will have an easier time ranking higher in Google’s search results.

Internal links are hyperlinks that link back to your own website pages within the same site. This factor tells us about the relevancy of our website, if we put the necessary thing on our webpage then it also increase the Google page ranking and also gives us some idea about user experience. The more internal links we put, the better and help it external links you have on a given domain pointing to your specific web pages. the better that page may be able to rank in search engine results.
